Retail is panic-searching Google for "Bitcoin" at a 12-month high while miners literally power down their rigs. Network difficulty just dropped 11.16% — the biggest nuke since the 2021 China ban — mostly thanks to US snowstorms knocking Foundry USA offline.

BTC slipped 1.84%, shedding $25.93B in market cap. Why? The Bithumb airdrop glitch caused a localized panic, and BlackRock ETF hedging is dragging the spot price around. Plus, Jim Cramer is out here claiming Trump bought the $60k dip for the US strategic reserve. If Cramer is bullish, maybe we should all be terrified.
ETH actually survived. Up 1.21%. Which is honestly a miracle considering Trend Research just market-dumped their bag on Binance. They got liquidated on a leveraged Aave long and ate a massive $747 million loss. Institutional risk management at its finest. Oh, and ENS developers scrapped their L2 plans. They're deploying ENSv2 straight to the Ethereum mainnet because gas is finally cheap enough.

The Take
My read: We're in the chop zone. Over $100M in shorts got wiped out in 30 minutes today, and Coinbase loans are seeing record liquidations. Everyone is over-leveraged and under-capitalized. But look at the smart money. Binance is quietly converting stablecoins to buy $1B in BTC for their SAFU fund. Watch the $60k support level. If it snaps, we see $55k by Friday. Don't catch falling knives.
