Age Isn't Destiny: XRP vs. Market Cap Narratives

I've noticed XRP has been building for about ten years and sits near a $300B market cap, while Ethereum — roughly 12 years old — is around $500B. Newer projects like Cronos jumped to $25B after its 2021 mainnet launch, Luna reached $40B at its peak, and Dogecoin, born as a joke, is now about $35B.

To me this highlights that longevity and technical development alone don't determine valuation. Market cycles, narratives, token supply and liquidity often drive rapid re-ratings, for better or worse.

I remain cautious: age is an input, not a guarantee. I focus on tokenomics, real usage, and macro liquidity before treating a long track record as a valuation moat.
