Base Poised to Capture Rotation from SOL to ETH
I see a rotation from SOL into ETH: SOL/ETH is sliding as ETH benefits from institutional flows while SOL shows speculative fatigue. With ETH relatively strong, beta plays come back into focus — I view Base as the leading L2, backed by Coinbase (COIN).
Base’s growth is explosive: TVL ~$4.5B (+8,966% Y/Y), 1.1M active users (+1,130%), and 9.2M transactions (+1,920%) while average fees fell ~98%. Those metrics make Base a prime candidate to capture capital rotating up the stack.
Base-native DeFi is integrating with MORPHO and AERO, and protocols like ZORA — enabling creators to mint tradable tokens — are gaining daily volume, creators, and user activity. If ETH and Base continue to gain momentum, ZORA could benefit from the inflow.

Recommendation
I favor a buy-on-weakness approach to Base exposure and a watchful, opportunistic stance on ZORA for creator-driven token flows; size positions modestly and manage risk given momentum-driven upside.
