Bitcoin Peaks at $112K Amid Altcoin Slump; Focus Shifts to InfoFi Projects in 2025

Bitcoin is breaking its all-time high (ATH), reaching the $112,000 mark, but most altcoins are doing poorly. The majority of the WEB3 community's attention is currently on the Pump.fun sale, which seems to be a catalyst for Bitcoin's growth. I anticipate another small breakout beyond the current ATH—possibly up to $117,000— followed by a correction down to around $93,000. However, this is less interesting to me because I am primarily focused on one of the main narratives of 2025, which is InfoFi. Increasingly, new projects are integrating with KaitoAI and Ethos, providing user evaluations based on Twitter activity analysis. I believe this narrative will only grow. Here's a selection of projects I find particularly interesting at the moment: - Ethos: A project where users build their on-chain reputation through endorsements, reviews, and activity within the ecosystem. For instance, posting on Twitter or engaging in on-chain activities earns reviews that raise your ranking. The higher your ranking, the more opportunities you have—access to DAO, voting, private communities. Essentially, trust from other participants turns into an asset that works across the entire Web3 ecosystem. Access to Ethos is exclusive via invitation codes, which verified users already have. You can also receive an invite if you're a Farcaster user with a PRO subscription. - Xeet: An InfoFi game built on Abstract chain and integrated with Ethos. It resembles Fantasy, but your Twitter account can serve as your game card, advancing based on your Twitter activity. Scores reflect engagement metrics like likes and views, as well as content quality. This is one of the projects I most look forward to. Currently, new users can earn 50 points upon registration. Twitter accounts of the project and its founder are currently blocked, but I expect this will be resolved soon. - Vibes: A project that evaluates Twitter activity and awards points called VIBE. It’s still early-stage and not widely known, but seems promising. You can register now and get points for past Twitter activity. - Shout: A token launchpad similar to Loud—posting about tokens, gathering reach, and earning payouts. Developed by a team behind guess.Best and supported by alliances like Alliance DAO, Travis Bickle from Fantasy, and close industry figures. You can create your own token or promote others on the platform to earn points. - Noise: A significant project within the MegaETH ecosystem, involving mindshare campaigns. The idea is simple—if your project’s Twitter is being promoted, you go long on it. It doesn't matter if there's heavy activity from Monad or polarization from other groups; view counts and posts will increase. This project currently requires an invite, so keep an eye on the project’s and founder’s Twitter for codes. - Hatch Quest: An InfoFi Tamagotchi where you manage a pet, level it up, and battle. - Yarm: A liquidity social platform integrated with Mitosis and Kaito AI, where content creators, called 'Yappers,' monetize their influence. They get prioritized allocations and a share of the liquidity they attract. Liquidity providers can support their favorite Yappers or automatically distribute funds among top performers.
