Bitcoin's Rise as a Strategic Reserve Asset and Investment Demand Growth

CoinShares reports a rising demand for financial advisors specializing in cryptocurrencies, driven by the expansion of the crypto market and Bitcoin's emergence as a global reserve asset. A survey of 500 respondents reveals that 80% of investors seek guidance on cryptocurrency investments and prefer working with experts offering digital asset investment strategies, with Bitcoin being the primary focus (56%). Additionally, 89% of current holders, including high-net-worth individuals with assets exceeding $1 million, plan to increase their investments in 2025. CoinShares also states that Bitcoin has matured into a strategic asset comparable to gold, currencies, and commodities for economic stabilization and crisis hedging. Contrary to previous beliefs about high volatility, Bitcoin has shown resilience during macroeconomic shocks, outperforming gold in stability during the first half of the year when gold was more volatile. Digital gold possesses advantages over traditional assets, such as ease of use, limited supply, inflation protection, resistance to sanctions and crises, and serving as an indicator of a country’s innovative climate.
