BNB gas required for swaps — keep a small BNB balance

I learned that swapping tokens on Binance Smart Chain requires gas fees paid in BNB. If I don't hold any BNB in my wallet, I won't be able to complete the swap.

To avoid this, I keep a small BNB balance or buy a tiny amount of BNB on the exchange before attempting swaps so transactions don't fail for lack of gas.
