Brand and Budget Decide the Ordinals Marketplace Winner

I remember when Ordinals appeared on Bitcoin — there was a real rush to launch a marketplace fast.

I built one for a client and finished at the same time as ME. Their team, working from an Airbnb with a budget and polish, outperformed my work from a dark apartment fueled by energy drinks.

A few teams launched earlier than us, but ME ultimately swallowed them with existing brand, marketing budgets and distribution — first to market wasn’t enough against scale.
