Budgets and Brand Won the Bitcoin Ordinals Marketplace Race

I remember when Ordinals first launched on Bitcoin — there was a race to build the fastest marketplace.

I was building one for a client and finished at the same time as ME. Their team, lodged in a rented Airbnb villa, produced a slightly better product than mine in a dark apartment fueled by energy drinks.

A few teams finished earlier, but ME ultimately ate them all with their budgets and existing brand.
