Can't verify without TXID — how to check if your Bitcoin transaction is confirmed

I can’t tell whether your Bitcoin transaction is confirmed without the transaction ID (TXID) or a screenshot from your wallet. Confirmation status is determined on-chain, not from memory or a wallet notification alone.

To check yourself, paste the TXID into a block explorer (e.g., mempool.space, blockchair.com, or blockchain.com). If confirmations = 0 it’s unconfirmed and still in the mempool; if confirmations ≥ 1 it’s on-chain and confirmed.

If it’s unconfirmed, check the fee rate and whether the transaction was marked RBF. Low-fee transactions can stay pending for hours or be dropped; you can accelerate via CPFP or RBF (if supported) or wait for miners to include it.

Recommendation

Provide the TXID or run it through a block explorer yourself. If unconfirmed and urgent, use RBF (if enabled) or a child-pays-for-parent (CPFP) transaction to accelerate inclusion; otherwise wait — mo...
