Chasing New Altcoins Undermines Core Crypto Principles

I believe the core issue is that we live in a world eager to gamble on new altcoins and largely ignores fundamental crypto principles. I see little attention paid to the long-standing ideals of decentralization, security, and transparent value transfer, with only a very small minority still clinging to them.

In my view, this behavior fuels noise, short-term hype, and reckless risk-taking rather than sustainable growth. The market rewards novelty over substance, which can undermine trust in the broader crypto ecosystem and its potential benefits.

Ultimately, I’m frustrated by the trend of chasing fresh, unproven tokens instead of focusing on robust projects that align with core crypto tenets like verifiable code, real utility, and responsible governance.
