Crypto.com's Contradictory Responses on Fraudulent Transactions and Virtual Card Usage

Although a dispute was requested, no refund was ever asked for. It is assumed that if a refund were to occur, Visa or any fraud protection insurance would handle it. Crypto.com only states that they do not have a valid right to intervene, yet they recommend adding the new virtual card to Apple Pay in order to use it. Initially, they claimed there was no valid right to claim because the fraudulent transactions were made through Apple Pay, and later, they suggest adding the virtual card to Apple Pay to use it. These contradictory statements are quite perplexing.
