DAI on Fantom: Possible Wrong Token or Bridge — Don’t Move Until Verified

I hold DAI on the Fantom network and believe that if I move it I will lose about 97% of its value.

I suspect the token on Fantom may not be the canonical DAI (it could be a wrapped/bridged token, a mispriced liquidity position, or a scam contract), or a bridge/DEX is quoting the wrong rate.

I will not transfer large amounts until I verify the token contract, check liquidity and pricing on-chain, run small test transfers, and contact support or the bridge provider.
