Don’t Panic — 115‑FZ Scam Then 161‑FZ Card Blocks on Bybit P2P

Don't panic — the first 115‑FZ scam hit me about five years ago on my first Avito purchase: I transferred 270k to a local guy via Tinkoff-to-Tinkoff. It was a direct bank transfer and I lost the funds.

Now, after a P2P exchange on Bybit, all cards are being blocked under 161‑FZ, so the payment rails are more restricted and risk of freezes has increased.

I remain calm but cautious: these are regulatory/AML issues rather than market signals, so adjust how you move money and prefer verified, escrowed channels.
