Ethereum: Core Long-Term Play, Short-Term Volatility Expected

I think Ethereum remains a core infrastructure asset in crypto with durable long-term demand from DeFi, NFTs and rollups. The Merge and subsequent staking dynamics reduced issuance and shifted the narrative toward scarcity, which I find constructive.

That said, I expect continued short-term volatility from macro uncertainty, regulatory noise and competition from other smart-contract chains. I watch on-chain metrics and development activity more than price alone when forming views.
