LayerEdge Distributes 24% of EDGEN Tokens at Launch with Long-Term Release Plan

The largest portion of EDGEN tokens, accounting for 41% of the total supply, are allocated to individuals supporting the LayerEdge network, including participants, validators, and active contributors. These funds aim to grow the LayerEdge community and motivate involvement at all contribution levels. At launch (TGE), 58.54% of this allocation, equivalent to 24% of the total supply, will be unlocked immediately. The remaining 41.46% will be gradually released over four years to maintain long-term ecosystem alignment. From the 24% unlocked at launch: - 6% will be allocated for the initial airdrop, available entirely from day one. - 2% will serve as an additional airdrop to attract new users and increase project awareness. - 2% are reserved for OG Pledge Pass holders as a staking fee refund, making a total of 10% initial airdrops. - 2% will be used for early staking rewards. - 4% are allocated for on-chain liquidity (locked). - 8% will fund initiatives for listing on major centralized exchanges (CEXs) and liquidity pools. The 8% for CEX listings and community initiatives will be distributed across multiple major exchanges and dedicated to upcoming community and liquidity initiatives.
