Lighter Points Performance and Strategy Insights for Upcoming Week
Lighter awarded points last week, with results summarized below.
A week remains where trading incurs no commissions, after which an investor announcement is expected, and transaction fees will commence.
I managed to earn $2 per point. I know they offer cheaper options, but it's unlikely they handle such a volume.
There are many valuations for points, but the most conservative estimates are $6-7, similar to a mediocre KiloEx. Expecting calm 3-4x but hoping for more.
I traded with short-term positions without holding, as volatility was sufficient; this week, I plan to open long hedge trades for diversification (long and short simultaneously for the same amount).
Also, I didn't mention that I am not using a single account. There's hope for a base reward, but it's uncertain. Why not do like Arkham? Conditionally 10 points with a cost of $10-20, minimum for a drop. Think about it.
Additional tips:
- Distribute volume throughout the week, not in a single hour.
- Holding onto trades isn't decisive.
- PNL from trades is what matters.
- They pay more for liquidation, but it's a pain.
- I trade some low-liquidity tokens; they yield more points but with wider spreads.
I wrote about the valuation and why I am focusing heavily on this here.
