Long-term ETH Hold from 2022
I still hold the Ethereum I bought back in 2022, and I don’t see a reason to abandon that position given the long-term potential I’m tracking.
ETH has evolved through major upgrades like the Merge, moving to proof-of-stake and introducing staking opportunities that can potentially enhance yields and network security. This shift, coupled with ongoing layer-2 scaling progress and broader crypto adoption, supports a narrative of durable utility for ETH beyond short-term price swings.
From a risk perspective, the market remains volatile and sensitive to macro shifts, regulatory developments, and demand cycles. My current stance reflects a belief in ETH’s foundational role in decentralized finance and smart contracts, while acknowledging that downside risks exist if external catalysts falter or if liquidity conditions worsen.
Overall, the decision to continue holding aligns with a long-horizon view rather than a quick-trade mindset, favoring resilience and potential upside as the ecosystem matures and adoption expands.
