Nano Should Target Fediverse and Matrix, Not Corporate Social Media

I don’t see Nano supporting free, decentralized, privacy-focused social media and communicators, and I think that’s a missed opportunity. In places like the Fediverse and privacy-first messengers Nano could find a receptive user base.

I only heard about Nano recently because it hasn’t engaged in those communities. Instead of chasing corporate platforms like X, Reddit or Facebook, Nano should prioritize integrations with Fediverse projects and privacy-focused protocols such as Matrix.
