It's concerning that a core developer of Pirate Chain seems unaware that his own blockchain is based on a UTXO model. The robustness of the UTXO heuristic with respect to ARRR remains intact, even though ZK proofs obfuscate input-output links on-chain. These links can be revealed through transport layer heuristics, which analyze broadcasted transaction data like nullifiers, new notes, and zk-SNARKs. By monitoring the first nodes or IPs that broadcast these components, analysts can correlate nullifiers with outputs, exposing transaction patterns such as consolidations or transfers.
