Questioning BTR’s Utility Beyond Governance

I’m asking what real utility BTR will have beyond being a governance token for Bitlayer — governance alone rarely drives large sustained price appreciation.

I’d want to see clear on‑chain use cases such as staking, fee capture, revenue sharing, burns, or required protocol access that create consistent demand for BTR. Without those, the token risks behaving like many governance‑only tokens that underperform.
