Reflecting on Early Cryptocurrency Adventures and Lessons Learned

Back in 2016-2017, cryptocurrencies only started gaining attention. A young student saw potential in this and spent days and nights browsing different websites collecting satoshis. He entered captchas, clicked links, and jotted down where and when satoshis could be gathered. He created two wallets and used two accounts to collect small amounts, then he forked Bitcoin to get Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Hash (or similar names), withdrew them to Binance, and created BNB when its price was around $4, even as Bitcoin surged from $4,000 to $6,400. Once, he earned $600 from a $50 investment, but the next day, he invested that entire amount into a coin that then crashed to zero and was delisted. Later, he built a community with his friends, sharing daily faucets, but everyone dismissed it as useless, leading him to take it less seriously. At that time, YouTube videos on doubling and tripling satoshis in casinos appeared—I remember one where you could spin twice, lose, double your bet, and repeat up to 11 times, with the 12th attempt supposedly having a minuscule 0.00001 chance to lose. Now, he's left watching empty wallets with transactions totaling 0.26 and 0.18 BTC. His desire to get rich resulted in losses, and he wishes he'd just transferred everything to Binance and forgot about it until 2025. It's painful to see these transactions worth tens of thousands of dollars lost. Believe in what you're doing, don't let anyone influence or push you away from your dreams.
