Sell ETH Position to Buy ETH Ecosystem Bets with Cautious Upside Scenarios
I sold 2/3 of ETH for USDT and went long on solid L2s and select Ethereum ecosystem projects, including Aptos. Here are the scenarios I’m weighing:
1. ETH peaks and won’t push higher. I think the rest of the ecosystem would minimally follow the main coin.
2. ETH drops to about $10,000 and then doubles. The chance that ecosystem projects won’t 3–4x is very small.
3. ETH crashes and ecosystem projects fail to deliver meaningfully. I’d rebalance back into the remaining USDT and hold L2 tokens, planning to wait for a future pump—better than chasing random “shields.”
Risks exist, but at the current market phase they feel controllable.
