Solana Overhyped; Chromia Could Enable Real-World dApps
I don't believe Solana has any chance of producing a dApp that could replace a large real‑world service like Uber — I mean absolutely none. Calling it Stone Age technology, I see no path to the necessary real‑world reach.
SOL's price appears driven primarily by hype and investors who don't understand the underlying limitations. There are currently no large‑reach, real‑use dApps on Solana to justify the valuation.
I think Chromia is the first network that could deliver large‑scale, real‑world dApps, and only when such applications appear will investors start rethinking where value lies in the ecosystem.
