Telos's Path to Sustainable Growth: Focusing on Real-World Adoption and Trust

My view hasn't changed much over the past few years. For Telos to grow, it needs real-world adoption by individuals and businesses. This means shifting towards practical use cases, especially real-world assets (RWA), without necessarily depending on large Web 2.0 companies for adoption. Instead, I believe we should focus on expanding Web 3's reach, which remains quite limited. To facilitate more adoption, privacy features are essential. I don't see many people or companies willing to expose all their transactions publicly, and I don't anticipate this changing soon. Additionally, improved identity verification is crucial. Implementing zero-knowledge (zk) identity solutions can help users prove their unique identity, which is fundamental for scalable new applications, especially those involving referral mechanisms mirroring Web 2.0 experiences. Trust and adoption will also hinge on Telos becoming a highly trustworthy asset, similar to Ethereum’s status. Currently, many projects tend to focus on superficial activity incentivized in unsustainable ways, which can mislead the public. Instead, Telos should aim for genuine growth by building a dependable ecosystem and currency that people can trust. This approach promises long-term stability and credibility in the evolving blockchain landscape.
