Understanding Pirate Chain's Privacy Model to Counter Misconceptions

The suspicion is that Techleaks may be either malicious towards Pirate and Forge or potentially lacking understanding of the technical details he discusses. If the latter is true, then much of his information might be generated from AI hallucinations, strengthened by his own misconceptions. 1) Pirate, similar to Zcash and Bitcoin, is technically a UTXO chain. 2) However, Pirate's transactions are not UTXO in the traditional sense, as with Zcash T-addresses or Bitcoin; instead, it exclusively uses zk-SNARK shielded transactions, which conceal input and output details, making tracing impossible. 3) Only transparent addresses, like Zcash T-addresses and Bitcoin, are susceptible to UTXO tracing heuristics; Pirate Chain does not have transparent addresses, thus avoiding this vulnerability. 4) Forge has explicitly stated that if Techleaks understood his own statements, he would realize that UTXO-based privacy breaches are irrelevant to Pirate, as all transaction data—sender, receiver, and amounts—are encrypted with zk-SNARKs and cannot be linked. 5) UTXO heuristics depend on visibility into transaction inputs and outputs. In Pirate, inputs are represented by nullifiers without link to outputs, and outputs are encrypted notes. This setup eliminates common heuristics used to trace transactions like in Bitcoin or transparent Zcash. 6) Transport layer heuristics are unrelated to UTXO and are a network-level issue, which is mitigated by using VPN, Tor, or I2P via Treasure Chest; thus, they are a red herring in this context.
