Unsolicited USDT OTC Offer — High Risk, Avoid Prepayment
I reviewed an unsolicited ad soliciting large purchases of USDT (Tether). It lists payment options (IMPS, UPI, bank cards, third-party payments), claims to be a large Asian equity fund with safe, stable services and no fraud, but requires prepayment and provides multiple Telegram/WhatsApp contacts.
Several red flags stand out: the ad is inconsistent about minimum amounts (mentions 50 USDT and 500 USDT), implies IMPS rates like “95–98” (unclear pricing), demands prepayment, and directs users to private messaging apps rather than regulated platforms.
I would not engage directly. Use regulated exchanges or reputable OTC desks, insist on KYC/escrow, do a small test transaction if necessary, and report suspicious offers to relevant authorities.
