Will Pi Network Reach $10? A Near-Impossible Dream Amidst Market Realities

On February 20, 2025, the Pi Network finally launched its mainnet open-source version, which many users saw as the beginning of a new era and hoped would push Pi's price to $10. Contrary to users' dreams, Pi's price has dropped from its peak of $2.98 by about 86.5%, now sitting around $0.4.

With over 7.4 billion Pi in circulation, reaching a $10 price point would require a market capitalization of approximately $74 billion. This is an amount only reached by a few major projects. Additionally, as more Pi are released, there will likely be increased selling pressure.

Despite having a community of 65 million, Pi Network has faced criticism for its centralized structure, delays in providing features like smart contracts, and mandatory identification requiring personal information. Analysts believe that achieving a $10 price for Pi under these conditions resembles more of a miracle than a realistic goal.
