If you mean Bixbit, I know that not every chip revision is supported by their firmware. I’d try installing it — the worst-case scenario is you’ll get errors saying the firmware doesn’t recognize certain chips, and you can always roll back to the stock firmware if needed.

On the cooling side, they provide many features. The system can automatically reduce performance profiles based on chip temperatures, you can set custom ambient temperature ranges, and there’s a pre-cooling function for the boards, among other cooling controls.
