Bixbit Firmware & Cooling: Try Carefully — Strong Thermal Controls but Check Chip Compatibility

If you mean Bixbit, from what I know not every chip revision is supported by their firmware. I would try installing it — the worst outcome is that you’ll get errors indicating the firmware doesn’t support your chips, and you can always roll back to the stock firmware.

Their cooling system is quite feature-rich. For example, it can automatically lower performance profiles based on chip temperatures. You can also manually set ambient temperature ranges. There’s a pre-cooling function for the boards and several other thermal-management options that help with miner stability and longevity.
