Monero 51% Claim Likely a PR Stunt, Not a Real Threat

They were definitely lying before, and I don't believe they have 51% now — assuming the stats are even correct, which I haven't fully verified yet because I'm sleepy. When I wake up I'll compare their peers and pools with their competitors to be sure.

They may have hidden peers, which would suggest centralization issues in their blockchain, but that's a separate topic. Either way, what they're claiming won't give them any real benefit other than publicity from people who don't understand how Monero works; such so‑called 'attacks' achieve nothing.
