Lower-cost ways to buy CHR: CEXs, aggregators or OTC

I think swapping ETH on-chain to buy CHR is simple but often expensive because of gas, slippage and routing inefficiencies. For small buys it’s fine, but for better price and lower fees there are superior options.

I prefer using a centralized exchange with CHR listings (deposit fiat or a stablecoin) or a reputable DEX aggregator (1inch, Paraswap) to route the best quote. For very large orders I’d consider OTC or limit orders on an exchange to avoid market impact.

Be mindful of custody and counterparty risk on CEXs, and of bridge/contract risks if you use alternative chains. Choose the method that balances cost, speed and your tolerance for custody risk.
